Project Scope:

The ZPE team concluded a 12.5kW grid-tie roof-top solar PV installation for a client in Houghton Estate, JHB. The system will generate up to 60 kWhrs/units of electricity per day using top tier solar panels that have 25 year performance warranties.

The system consists of a dual-phase inverter system with remote monitoring capability, and designed to maximise solar PV consumption during daytime when electricity consumption is high at this premises. Any excess solar is planned to feed back into the City Power utility grid.
